It is the last closest town of the Rajasthan, closest to the India and Pakistan border. It is the land of desert any people like camel riding and other desert activities while visiting the Jaisalmer city. Jaisalmer city is one of the prominent landmarks of the Jaisalmer Fort, a tourist attraction like other forts. You can see many shops, hotels, and Havelis inside the fort where people live.

Jaisalmer was established in the 12th century. History tells us that Rawal Jaisal, the eldest heir to the Rawal of Devaraja, was passed on to the throne of Lodurva, and a younger half-brother was made the king. Rawal Jaisal searched for a new place to establish his capital when he found the sage Isul. The sage told him about Krishna's prophecy, which said that the descendants of his Yaduvanshi dynasty would get a new kingdom. In 1156, Rawal Jaisal built a mud fort, named it Jaisalmer, and declared it his capital.
